Here are some cheat codes that can help you breeze through the game.
In order for you to type in a code you must first hold down Ctrl-Shift-C during gameplay so that the cheat console will appear and then type in testingcheatsenabled. This will enable the cheats in the game. After this you can type in Help to show the list of most Sims 3 cheat codes. Below is a list of some of the codes and their effects.
- Kaching – give your Sim 1,000 more Simoleons
- Motherlode - give your Sim 50,000 more Simoleons
- shazaam – give an active Sim +2,500 lifetime happiness points
- freerealestate – no cost when buying a lot
- modify traits – clear or set your Sim’s traits
- add to household - Add an active Sim to your current household
- set age [number] - Set age of the Sim
- edit in cas – re-edit your Sim
- set career [career/level] - Give selected Sim a career
- force visitor - have a neighbor to show up
- make me know everyone - Selected Sim knows every other Sim jn the neighborhood
- make friends for me – gives the selected Sim random friends
- make happy - sets the mood/moodlets of everyone to perfect
- make motives [static or dynamic] - Set motives static or dynamic for entire household
- resetSim [first name] [last name] - Return Sims to safe and neutral state at home
- constrainFloorElevation [true or false] - Force terrain adjustments regardless of objects, Sims, and other structures
- quit - Quit the game
